Director of Community Education
Gail was born in San Diego at the Naval Base Coronado. As the daughter of a Senior Chief in the US Navy, the family moved from California to Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas then back to California. Gail attended Junior high and High school in Escondido then spent the next four years in Arkansas. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education she moved back to San Diego north county and went to work for the electric utility, SDG&E for the next 18 years where she held a variety of positions including Home Economist, supervisor in customer service and meter reading. Gail was also an active member of the Energy Speaker Corps and President of the company’s non profit organization, raising over $750,000 for the community.
In 1996, new opportunities were on the horizon as Gail relocated to the Seattle area, the, Idaho. This was just a stepping stone to the far north, Alaska. Gail and her husband Steve moved to Alaska in January, 1999. She has worked in business to business sales and pharmaceutical sales. After a short retirement, Gail joined the TMS center of Alaska team in July, 2018 as Director of Community Education.
In her spare time, Gail enjoys teaching pistol shooting, camping and 4 wheeling, working in the yard and garden, home remodeling projects, quilting and experimenting in the kitchen.
