Dr. Tracey Wiese
Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Tracey Wiese is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner certified in both Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University, where she attended as a Jonas Scholar.
She has been working with at risk youth and families for a decade in the Anchorage area. Prior to doing work in the outpatient mental health setting, Dr. Wiese worked for Forensic Nursing Services of Providence and Alaska CARES, the Children’s Advocacy Center in Anchorage for 6 years. At Alaska CARES, Dr. Wiese evaluated children and families when there were concerns of sexual abuse, physical abuse and/or severe neglect.
Dr. Wiese provides a wide variety of services and expertise. She provides trauma informed psychotropic medication management and other mental health supportive services. In addition, she provides medical services related to gender/sexuality affirming healthcare and assists clients pursuing an FASD diagnosis. Dr. Wiese consults with and provides education and services to the Fetal Alcohol Diagnostic Team, Birchwood Behavioral Health Group Home, State of Alaska (Expert Testimony), Office of Children’s Services, Department of Juvenile Justice, The Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault and many others.
