Dr Manish Sheth is Licensed and Board Certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He has worked in University and other community settings. Currently, he is Chief Of Psychiatry and Medical Director at the Tri-City Medical Center at Vista, CA, as well as a Voluntary Associate Clinical Professor at UCSD Dept of Psychiatry. He has varied experience in working with clients with various conditions such as Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, OCD, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, ADHD, and others. In 2020, Dr. Sheth earned the honor of Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and joins an distinct group of psychiatrist who make significant contributions to the field of psychiatry.
Dr. Sheth applies his extensive background and knowledge as former Clinical Director of Genomics into incorporating genetic technology into the treatment of clients. Genetic testing helps create a treatment regimen which is individualized and best suited for each client thus limiting side effects and resulting in improved positive effects of medications when used appropriately. He also uses Neuromodulation including magnetic stimulation of specific brain areas and neuropharmocology to provide cutting edge care to each of his patients. His experience in combining therapy and medication for treatment of psychiatric disorders allows him to focus on the wellness of his patients and ensure that they achieve their maximum potential at social, educational, and professional levels.
Dr. Sheth is married with three children and enjoys music and sports activities during his off time with his family. He keeps up with new advances in the field of psychiatry including therapy techniques, and new medications, He trained at the Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School for TMS, and is a member of the Clinical TMS society.
