Up and down, side to side, this rollercoaster called life takes us for some rides that are both terrifying and enjoyable. But, what is it like to sit right next to a person whose rollercoaster never stops spinning or whose rollercoaster is coming off the tracks speeding towards a complete break down?
As TMS Technicians we immediately strap into a seat right next to individuals whose rollercoaster is either going 100 mph, spinning out of control, or racing towards a dead stop. For 4-6 weeks, we partner with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and more, and it’s difficult to witness these gut-wrenching points in people’s lives ……darkness, hopelessness, fear. …the list goes on and on. But, there is hope and I’ve seen first-hand how deep TMS can change brain chemistry and re-orient a person’s experiences of the world around them.
So, what is it like to be sitting next to a person whose roller coaster finally starts working again? Well. It is one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences I have encountered! Yes, there is hope and yes, I believe that what we offer provides healing. Our rollercoasters need to be maintained and taken care of. and that starts with a healthy physical state. I believe each of us has an obligation to take good care of our bodies and our minds. If you, or anyone you know struggles with depression, know that there is an option, and that there is always hope available through deep TMS treatment at Achieve.
