Dr. Veronica Deatrick is a board certified Advanced Practice Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She earned her Doctorate from Vanderbilt University and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of San Diego. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Veronica uses an integrative model of brief psychotherapies in combination with medication management and natural therapies (mental conditioning and life style changes). She treats adults with various psychiatric disorders and has a special interest in treating depressive mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and sleep problems. She is currently on staff at Tri City Medical Center Behavioral Health Unit.
Veronica is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the California Association for Nurse Practitioners. She is active in participating in or volunteering for community organization events such as the National Alliance on Mental Health run, Tri- City Medical Center Behavioral Health marathon team and the Susan G. Komen for the cure medical station. In her free time she enjoys international travel with family and friends. She also has a great love of the outdoors spending time camping, trekking, and hiking.
